Q: Can a 2010 Honda Civic Ex engine fit into a 1997 Honda Civic Ex?
I want to swap out the old Ex engine for a 2010 Ex engine.
A: can it be swapped out, yes anything is possible with alot of money....
what your best off to do is replace your old 97 civic ex motor with the same, it would cost alot more to swap a 2010 civic motor in your civic and in my opinion its a waste of time and money.
Q: Should I get a used 2009 Toyota Prius or a 2010 Honda Civic EX?
Both of them has navigation system
The Civic has a sunroof, and its new
Prius is used 09
A: i personally like the EX,
But Prius is more fuel efficient,
Over time the saved amount will go towards more accessory.
The civic is great, its fuel efficient as well but not as much as prius,
it all comes down to Saving Earth and its pollution or Saving money,
Saving Earth? then buy a Prius
Q: i am finna turn 18 should i get a 2010 honda civic ex-l with nav or just a 2009 honda accord ex regular versio?
I am looking at Honda and Nissan and Toyota only. and i cannot drive a stick
A: You should go with the EX-L. I was in the market for an LX, but because of limited availability of manual transmissions I went with the EX, and I'm SO glad I did! (tho I wish I had gotten the EX-L now)
In my opinion, I would rather get the top trim on lower model than the basic trim on the next model up. All those little luxuries (like audio controls on the wheel, sun roof, better speakers) really make you feel like you're in a nicer car. So my guess is you'd be happier in a nice Civic than a basic Accord.
Also the Civic has a pretty unique dashboard style, whereas the Accord has a more standard one. I love the Civic's dash, but some people don't, so that would probably be a pretty significant factor in your decision.
P.S. The civic also gets better mileage, in case that's a factor.
Q: Honda Civic EX-L 2010?
i was thinking of buying a honda civic ex-l in a few months, am 19 and love sporty looking cars, is this car smooth when on the road? and what do you think of it? thanks.
A: I'm a big fan of Civics and have three in my family. They drive well on the road on long trips, but 'smooth" and "sporty" are rarely used in the same sentence because 'sporty' usually has a stiffer suspension so there is a greater road feel. I don't mind the Civic ride. I just bought a 2010 Accord and can tell you that by comparison, the Civic has a 'less smooth' ride. That doesn't mean its bad, its just that the Accord is bigger and heavier and has a suspension made for 'smooth' v. "sporty".
Just go to any Honda dealer and ask toI think you'll find the Fit has the 'least smooth' ride of the three. you can determine what is the right feel for you if you drive the three and see for yourself.
hope that helps
Q: What is the 0-60 time in an 2010 automatic honda civic coupe ex-l?
I'm planing to buy a car soon and it was down to the Honda civic coupe ex-l and the KIA forte koup sx. I think that the civic is the one that I want. Can you tell me why I should get the Civic other than reliability. Or why I shouldn't get the civic other than its not American made? Also if you know any random cool features please list those and also the 0-60 time. Lastly do you think this car has enough power?
Thanks
A: 1. About 9.2 seconds
2. They are made in Ohio and Indiana
3. They are easily modifiable...if you're in to that
4. Pretty cheap to own and maintain
5. Good resale value
6. It's fast enough, especially if it's your first car
Q: 2010 Honda Civic sedan.......?
i have a 2010 honda civic sedan ex...and i was just wondering how many gallons the gas tank holds-any help would be greatly appreciated!
A: It's a 13.2 gallon tank.
Q: Honda civic coupe, Chevy Camaro, or Kia forte Koup?
I am looking for my first car. I am still not very close to driving but I am in love with cars and want to know what I should get when the time comes.
Here are my choices (all are 2010):
Honda Civic Coupe EX (w/ navigation system and in black)
http://automobiles.honda.com/tools/build-price/summary.aspx?ModelName=Civic%20Coupe&ModelYear=2010&ModelID=FG1B8AKW&EColor=NH-731P&IColor=BK&Selected=CIVIC10268
Chevy Camaro LS (w/out nav, in black)
http://www.chevrolet.com/tools/byo/byoCustomizeVehicle.do?year=2010&brand=camaro&title=®ion=10&evar10=byo_path_buildbytrim&pvc=19980
Kia Forte Koup SX (w/out nav in red)
http://www.kia.com/#/forte-koup/explore/360-views-and-colors-exterior/
I am looking for things like good mpg, nice looks, and high horse power. I would also like the vehicle to have a navigation system for the times that I ever get lost (but if I get a car w/out one I would just go to Best Buy and get one).
All these cars are great.
The Camaro has the best horsepower but is also the most expensive.
The Forte Koup is cool but some of my friends dont like it and it doesn't have great hp. Although it is the cheapest of the cars that I chose.
The Honda Civic Coupe has ok looks but has the lowest hp and is the 2nd most expensive. Although it does come with a nav system. All these cars are great but I need it to be inexpensive and fit all my needs. Which one should I get?
IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS OF CARS PLEASE TELL ME. LET IT BE AROUND/ UNDER $25,000.
Thanks.
P.S. They will all have automatic transmission.
A: Out of those Civic. If you can't get the V8, there is no point in having a Camaro. Also try the Mitsubishi Eclipse.
I would not reccomend a Coupe for you get a Subaru. You can get a 256hp WRX for $25,000.
Q: What should my next car should be: an '07/'08 Honda Civic or a 2010 Kia Soul?
I'm just asking because I have an '85 Buick Skylark, that I'm driving right now. It's really hard to find parts for a car that's 25 years old up, especially if it's not "classic" car, like a '60s Mustang or Camaro. I mean the Kia has a 10-year/100,000 mile warranty, but the Civic doesn't depreciate as quickly as most cars. They're basically the same price, unless I want to get extra bells and whistles on it, like getting leather interior on a Honda Civic EX-L (the L for "leather"). Anyway, I like to hear your answers. Which one to pick?
A: HONDA.
Both cars are good.
But Honda is number 1 in reliability and Number 1 in resale value.
The Civic is also more comfortable, faster, and more fuel efficient and handles better than the Soul. And Quieter and cheaper to maintain and fix.
Q: Can I use a negotiated Sale price for a Lease price?
I initially started negotiations with several dealers in my area to purchase a 2010 Honda Civic EX. My wife and I have decided that it is probably best for us to lease right now instead. Can I use the price I had negotiated for an outright sale as the vehicle price in a lease? First time leasing, so I have no idea. Thanks.
A: Yes. Many are not aware that you can negotiate the price of the car in a lease. Dealers are usually reluctant to negotiate because they often push the low payments while getting full sticker price.
But negotiating a lease on your own is often a bad idea. Instead go with the manufacturer subsidized one as they are the cheapest.
Honda already has a special lease for the Civic EX:

Q: 2010 Mazda 3 or 2009 Honda Civic?
so far im leaning torwards the Mazda iTouring because i like the interior and exterior and i heard its fun to drive. I want the civic ex w/ navi because it has better mpg. i dont know which one to pick, and will the civic be cheaper this summer because it has to release the 2010 civics? i heard mazdas breakdown easily. Also i go to school upstate ny which is really cold, which is better for the winter?
A: I will take the Civic for 500 Alex...lol..
JK.. I love my civic... they are good low maintenance cars. Mine is a' 99 and only had 1 major problem. The air compressor..
Q: Honda Civic EX-L Or Nissan Altima 2.5 S?
ok they are both 2010 but most likely will be a 2011 model when i get them in july. my question is which is better in terms of quality & reliabilty. i'd like someone who knows from EXPERIENCE or if u anyone that owns one. Thank You.
so which of the two should i get?
A: I have a 2006 nissan altima 2.5 s. So far it has been pretty good. My brother drives a 2006 Honda Civic and it has been pretty good also. Only minor problems with the two (tires, etc). Nissan will cost you a bit more since it is one class above the Civic. I like the Civic si though.
Q: Honda Civic or Toyota Camry?
I am looking to buy a new car. I have test driven most compact sedans on the market, and I have finally narrowed it down to two.
The 2009 Honda Civic EX with 5 speed manual transmission
The 2010 Toyota Camry LE with 6 speed manual transmission
I know they're both good cars, but I still haven't made up my mind. The EX is a slightly higher model of the Civic, while the LE is the base model Camry, but then again the Camry is technically a higher model Toyota than the Civic is a Honda.
The Camry also offers the 6 speed transmission, while the Civic is only a 5.
At the same time, I am looking for something that won't need as much maintenance down the road. I'm sure they will both run great for the first couple of years, but I am looking for what would be most cost-efficient in the long run.
My family has owned both Toyotas and Hondas over the years, and in my experience, it seems that the Hondas tend to require less maintenance, but then again, that could just be coincidence.
I've read most car reviews for these two cars as well. It seems that the Civic handles a little better, has a sportier look, and a nicer interior. The Camry, on the other hand, offers a quieter ride, comfier seats, and a larger interior.
I figure I can't really go wrong with either car, but all the same, I am stuck.
If anyone has any advice, especially if they have personal experience with either of these cars, please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated. =)
A: The two cars are definitely comparable for mechanical reputation, and as for electronics, I wouldn't expect too much difference, BUT this can really vary a lot (ask about what kinds of repairs your family has made on their Toyotas and Hondas).
Also, how will you employ your car? If you'll spend some good time driving mid-high speeds, the 6-speed tranny could save you a bit in gas. But you may want to compare engine sizes, too, if gas and engine power matter greatly to you.
All in all, you're comparing a bigger stripped-down car to a smaller high-trim car. If you want the zippy, tight responsive car, you're probably looking at the Civic, but the bigger, comfier more resilient car may be the Camry.
All things considered, I think the answer is buried in your own question! Trust your instincts on this one---you've already done your homework.
Q: HONDA CIVIC or MAZDA 3?
honda civic sedan ex 2009 or mazda itouring 2010? and why?
A: MAZDA 3
Honda sells so many civics a year, there's really no incentive on buying a civic. While the civic is a great car, the Mazda 3 is more fun to drive, more stylish, has a higher quality interior, a lower price tag, and a few incentives avaliable most of the time.
Q: POLL: Which is the best compact sedan?
2010 Honda Civic EX-L coupe
2010 Toyota Corolla XRS
2010 Mazda 3 Grand touring
2010 Scion tc
A: 1. Honda Civic EX-L coupe
2. 2010 Scion tc
3. 2010 Toyota Corolla XRS
4. 2010 Mazda 3 Grand touring
All are very good cars but the Civic is a couple of steps ahead of the others. The TC and Corolla are very much alike (both made by Toyota) and the TC is the replacement for the old Toyota Celica.
Q: What should I do in this situation regarding my car?
I have a 2010 Honda Civic EX coupe. I owe $14,135 on it still. But I kind of want a 4-door car, because the 2-door is so inconvenient when you want to have people in your car all the time, etc.
I'm thinking of trading it in for the 4-door Civic, or even a 2010 Hyundai Elantra or 2010 Mazda3. Should I do this, or should I sell it on my own, or just keep the car?
My monthly payments are about $269 a month (66 month loan). I don't want to have higher payments.
A: Some dealers might offer to pay off your loan if they can put you in one of their cars, be sure to read the fine print though, and if it sounds too good to be true, it is.
