Q: Where is the Auxiliary Jack on Honda Civic 2007 LX sedan?
The Honda Civic 2007 LX 4 door sedan has AUX input button other than AM/FM and CD buttons. But I cannot find the Auxiliary Jack. I have seen on in 2008 Civic EX model and its not at the same place in my car. Does anyone know about that? Do I have to install explicitly?
A: The aux connection can be accessed by using the DICE Electronics Honda kit http://diceelectronics.com/honda.html
It will allow you to control an iPod directly through the factory Civic radio and it gives you the option of using an extra aux in for other MP3 players.

Q: what is the best in-dash GPS to go into a 2007 Honda Civic LX coupe, with detachable face or is out of site?
The in-dash GPS would preferably be good at directions, out of site or with detachable face when not in use or when I leave the car parked. Any suggestions appreciated.
A: ok great question, on crutchfield they have the eclipse cd7000, its the older model-(still beats alot of radio out there), but that radio is awesome, has the gps feature, and is detachable face, has really serious audio adjustments, great quality build and solid features. they have the outlet price of 449.99 and comes with the wiring harness, hardware kit,and detailed instructions. (that alone is about 35-40 bucks and comes with the purchase which is a plus) p.s- you have to purchase a navigation antenna which is the eclipse gps 105 - they run on crutchfield for about 200.00.-or if you can find a better price then run with that. (in all honesty, that radio was 699.99 at one point ,plus you had to buy that antenna which was 200, almost 900.00 dollars. i know what your thinking, i feel you have a desire for the big faced nagivation, but remeber this, they dont even compare as far a ecplise model im talking about. the eclispe radio is a single din, which should be perfect for you taste.compare for yourself and you will see, the eclipse will blow tons of radios in that category-(especially the one im talking about)good luck - be smart in the decision-itswell worth the time and the money you can save-believe me i know! have a great day!
Q: Do I need a better alarm in my stock 2007 Honda Civic LX coupe than the factory brand?
I live in an area where there is a high amount of break ins. I wanted to know if it is worth upgrading the stock alarm in the Honda I just bought. Maybe even Lojack?
where do you get etchings?
A: The Built in anti theft is very effective and is not that easily disabled without disabling the fuel pump as well so even if they get past it they won't get very far without fuel.
The Honda installed alarm/security system is a better deterrent as warning decals are placed on the windows to alert thieves that the system is in place..
Make sure that you are careful with having anything visible that would attract unwanted interest in your vehicle.
Lo-Jack is a great system but I have been told they seem to install the system in the same place on every car it is also simple to disable if the thief is a pro. I would ask about this if you are considering this route.
Lets face it if someone really wants your car there is nothing you can do to stop them. You need to be cautious and make sure you have adequate coverage on your insurance.
If you did not put a large down payment on the car when you bought it you might want to talk to your insurance company about a GAP rider to protect you from any shortage between what you owe and the depreciation that a new car takes in the first year.
Q: How can I remove the factory stereo from 2007 Honda Civic LX Coupe? Where can I find the instructions?
A: See your instructions here.

Q: Is it possible to remove the standard stereo in a 2007 Honda Civic LX sedan and install an aftermarket stereo?
I have an aftermarket stereo that I need to install into a 2007 Honda Civic LX and I can't get a solid answer from anyone if it's even possible. It doesn't look like the standard 2007 Civic LX stereo head unit can even be removed. It looks likes it's molded into the dashboard. Please help. Thanks.
A: A DIN or double-DIN radio can be installed into your Civic, using a special mounting kit. It's just a little more expensive than most.

Q: 2007 Honda Civic LX Mods?
Okay guys, here are the following modifications that I'm looking for to fix up my car:
I'm looking for some good custom headers/mufflers and a cold-air intake that I could put on my 2007 Honda Civic LX. Also, what type of hood scoops and/or spoilers would you guys recommend? I'm not planning to do anything big (like put on a big body kit or something like that) because I'm afraid I will screw up the bottom when going over bumps.
I have a 1.8L 140-hp 4-cyl. engine stock, but is it possible to go up to 200 or even over that amount with all the mods mentioned above?
I have a 5AT
A: You'll be lucky if you can get 140 hp to the wheels with just intake, exhaust, and headers. To get 200+ you'll have to do some sort of forced induction (Supercharge, Turbocharge, Nitrous) or do an engine swap.
Q: how much will a 2008 honda civic type r engine cost and could it fit into a 2007 honda civic lx?
What type of engine can i put instead of the 07 civic lx engine, can i put a 08 nissan GT-R engine
A: First of the GT-R motor is rear wheel drive. You would be looking at $20,000+ to make it work. The Civic type-r motor is from Japan only and cost upwatrds of $6,000 just for the motor. the complete swap including labor would be about $10,000. Remember you will need the tranny, mounts, axles, shift linkages, ECU, and other various parts too.
Q: What Should I do to my 2007 Honda Civic Lx?
I have 17" Chrome Rims, Window Tint, Two 12" Memphis Subs in the trunk powered by a 1000W Profile Amp, Clarion CD Deck, Memphis Speakers throughout. I don't know what i should do to it next. Any Suggestions on what all else I should do?
If you could tell me what the best brands of these things would be that would be great
A: Memphis? Nice.
Honda Civic... Are we talking performance or audio?
Intake and exhaust are your first steps. Don't put a spoiler on, you'll look like a ricer.
Q: What are people currently paying for the 2007 Honda Civic LX Automatic with no options?
Does your price include tax, tags, dealer fees, and destination charge? If you got options - what did you pay for them?
A: Currently with gas prices being $3.00 and over the discount for a Civic is minimal. A 4 door sedan LX has a list price of $18,355 (this includes destination). At my dealership we've been discounting them about $500. Bringing the price to $17,855. We tack on sales tax (6%) and a documentation feel of $149 and Federal Tire Tax of $1.25. This brings your Grand Total to: $19,076.55!
Q: am i save to buy a 2007 Honda Civic Lx for 15000$,with 70000 miles on it,on a 60 month loan?
I am worried about the high mileage, should I be?
A: 70K isn't bad for a Honda. I've got a Civic LX and it had a lot of miles on it when I bought it. This has to be highway driving, which is easier on a vehicle. A mere mortal isn't likely to be able to put 70K miles of city driving on in 18 months.
I'd see if you can wrangle the price down a bit because of the mileage.
Q: In just leased my 2007 Honda Civic LX for $555 down and $220 payment per month. Did I get a good deal?
It's a 36 month lease. Thank you in advance for your answer.
Oh yes, and its the two door coupe.
A: i would say that's great but what happens when your leases is up.. you could of just bought the car.. i have a 2006 civic si and a 2007 civic si sedan.. and i pay about 450.00 each for them a month but after i put in all that money, it's going to be my car. civics's are great car. one of the best maybe consider buying one when your lease is up..
Q: What can you say about the 2007 Honda Civic LX compared to the 2007 Mazda3?
A: the mazda turns more heads than the lx, but if it is the SI than i would go with that never would i ever buy a lx in my life
Q: what are good aftermarket performance parts that i can put on a 2007 honda civic lx standard?
where can i get a nice spoiler, bumpers, exhaust and wheels and tires
A: usually people on a small budget can stick to a basic intake, headers, and exhaust setup, which is mostly for sound. i personally like to shop through car magazines but depending on what you like or how much you have to spend, do some research in honda forums (i.e. www.superhonda.com) and they might be able to sell you used parts and they're people there selling parts for a store that they work at or they just do it as their own business. great way to get people to help you install these parts too if you don't want to do it yourself.
