Q: Is This a Good Price for a 2007 Honda Civic EX Coupe?
I am looking at a 2007 Honda Civic EX Coupe with 25,000 miles. It comes loaded as it is the EX edition but also has been upgraded with a factory installed navigation system and XM Radio. The car is in perfect running condition and has no dents or scratches. The dealer is asking $15,988. I think that is a good price but I am going to offer $14,500 and see where that goes. What do you guys think?

A: Wow !! These responses amaze me. They're not based on any facts or market conditions at all. Any hoo, do a search on autotrader.com and cars.com in your area for similarly equipped civics. That should give you a fair gauge to measure by. A lot of dealers (not all) rip their prices on the internet b/c they know a consumer on the internet is ruling cars out by price and they have to be amongst the lowest to even be considered. So those sites are great tools b/c they're commonly used by dealers and dealerships will often (not always) put the lowest prices they can accept (within a few hundred dollars) to make sure they are considered by internet shoppers. Don't fall prey to people giving you poor negotiating tactics that are based on gut feelings and not actual facts. That will only make your buying experience a miserable one as you are likely to end up making offers the dealership can not do but you think they can. *edit - btw There's nothing fishy about 25k miles on an 07. The avg person drives 12-15k miles per year. 09's are out. 2 years 25k miles makes perfect sense. I hope you enjoy your new car :)

Q: About to buy a 2007 honda civic ex new, what papers do I need?
Im paying in full with a loan. Im bring all those docs needed for the loan. Im bringing my id and licence is there anything else that I need to bring? Its a honda dealership.

A: Easy enough. Pick up the phone and call the dealership. Say "This is Andre, I'm coming to pick up my new Honda. What do I need to bring with to finalize the deal?" and they will tell you.

Q: 2007 Honda Civic EX: Price & Misc Questions?
I had a dealer offer me a price of $18,850 for a new 2007 Honda Civic EX Coupe. This was his price out of the gate, so I'm thinking I should try to negotiate down but all the research I've done makes it seem like that's actually a pretty good price. How much lower can I really get? I found a site that says invoice is $17,995, and the destination charge is $595. Can I really get much lower than the initial offer? Second question: Do all Honda EX's have that thing where you have to type in a code to get into the stereo? Do you have to do that every single time you get in the car, or can you choose when you want to lock it? Thanks!

A: i just bought a 2007 civic ex and you aren't going to get much lower than that. i paid a little more than that for mine but i love my car and it gets awesome gas mileage. i strongly doubt that you are going to find a new one any cheaper than that. and yes they do all have that radio code but no you don't have to enter it everytime. the only time you enter the code is if the stereo loses power- the code reactivates it once it comes on again. its made just in case someone stole your radio from the vehicle- once they put it in again it wont work until they punch in the code

I heard there are defroster repair kit in some stores but I do not know how hard is to do this myself? How match would cost me to repair this at the dealer?Winter is coming any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Q: 2007 Honda Civic EX loud squealing above 30mph?

Q: Performance Increase on 2007 Honda Civic EX?
I crashed my loaded 1994 Acura Legend, my dad got me a 2007 Honda Civic EX because it got great gas mileage ( I'd have rather got another used LUX car, but i dont have money like that so watev.) The new car stops on a dime and it looks pretty cool, but the acceleration and passing power leaves me wanting more (granted i am working with a 1.8L 140HP car.) If u just the hit the accelerator more often than not, nothing will happen till about 2 seconds later, I've learned to look for the sweet spots on the tachometer to get the most power from the car. I was wondering if it is even worth it to buy intakes, exhausts, etc on an automatic tranny car. Would installing a chip help? And even if I could, would that really effect the gas mileage of the car?

A: the automatic matters not, get a k&n airfilter, a turbo muffler, some hot spark plugs and a hotter coil, plus wires and yes the chip, using a k&n filter will increase your gas mileage also,
