A: just about any 4 cyl engine honda engine will fit in it. a k20 would be idea but those are rather expensive. i would look at b series (b16, b18, b20) engines they have been out for a while and there are many mods to choose from.

Q: What TIRES are good (but not too expensive) for a Honda Civic DX 2004?
Winter is coming up and i dont think my tires will make it through. ive heard firestones suck and goodyears are pretty good...and michelins are very good but cost a lot. i can prob spend up to about $70 or $80 per tire, but i dont know what other brands are good but not too overpriced. can anyone offer any advise? thanks!

A: There are all kinds of tires on the market and many different manufacturers. Some tiremakers even rebrand others tires. My suggestion is to go to you local tire place and ask them to recommend something based upon your needs. These people know tires and can make a good fit you.That is what I usually do and it has worked well. Many Hondas come with Michelins. I have had a few cars with them on and they are terrible. They give a harsh, bumpy ride. If you run over a little stone, you feel it under the car. I think their tires are only popular with uneducated consumers due to their hype. When I switched out the Michelins, the new ride was as different as night and day. The tire stores usually sell me some brand I have never heard of, but typically these are made by the big makers. They are reasonable cost, drive well and I get good life out of them.

A: yes. anything is possible. just have to figure it out to make it work.

A: It is a great deal that seems a little too good to be true. If you pursue this vehicle, make sure to get a carfax report (and get your mechanic to look at it) to make sure there is not flood damage or that the title is salvaged (make sure the car has not been totalled).

A: 99-00 Civic Si = B16 motor 160hp 93 Integra gsr = B17 motor 170hp 94-01 integra gsr = B18C1 motor 180hp If anything go with the Gsr motor, theres also a type r motor but good luck finding one.

A: well 5 grand isnt much for an engine swap well try putting a trubo kit and and maybe save another 3grand for the engine swap and 8 grand will get you the engine swap and turbo kit

Hi, I'm 17 and need a car and the honda civic is best car for me to last the next 8-10 years, but I would need a co-signer to get the loan. So my Mom would co-sign it but she only has a score of 620 maybe highe, but its only lower because her mortgage, but anyways i'd be the one making the payments because i work. So, i want the 2009 honda civic dx-vp base with auto transmission because the honda civic from 2005-2008 are actually more expensive than the cheapest 2009 honda civic and 2004 and below are still not the cheapest and not sure if will they last another ten years. Anyways, she has always payed her bills just some not on time, so could we get approved for the 2009 honda civic dx-vp with about 620 credit with $0-3000 down. A: The only way to know is to talk to a real dealer, try to get pre-approved on their website. It depends on your income, how long you've had a job, YOUR credit, all that. Try courtney honda in Milford, CT, I know people who've bought cars from them and from what I hear it's a great dealership. When you adjust a "bass" or "treble" level control, it is actually boosting or attenuating the analog sound wave at a predetermined frequency, but also with a predetermined bandwidth so that it affects neighboring frequencies. So what is that frequency and bandwidth for the bass control on this radio? Note that the radio for the EX model is different from the radio for the LX or DX model.

A: well to get the "bass" to work you have to put a bass fish under the hood on the air filter. The "treble" can be tricky, just put some sugar in your gas tank and let it soak for a hour and then put a Eazy E cd in the cd player and all should be good my friend. This is how the mexicans do it in Spain.

I'm buying a 2001-2004 Honda Civic I would like as many opinions as possible on the pros and cons of your favorite model (you don't have to like it, just give me advice on which models have which features and what you may or may not like about it and what you think I may or may not like about it). Also I would like to know what problems if you or someone you know have had with it. You don't need to say alot just give your opinion, or advice, or model specifications. The models I have found on 2001-2004 models are EX, LX, DX, HX, GX, Si, Hybrid, Value Choose as many or as little as you like (At least one)
