Q: where can I find FCC number for keyless remote of my 2003 Honda Civic LX?
I bought honda civic LX 2003, car doesn't have a keyless remote, on the book it says LX and EX versions supposed to be with the remote controller, but mine did not have when I purchased it. So I want to install myself but couldn't find it myself? Where exactly the FCC number located in the car??? Thanks.

A: the keyless entry was standard on the EX model and it was a dealer available accessory for the LX. The accessory installation was identical to the factory installed unit on the EX. you need to buy the accessory package to have keyless entry on that car. It may still be available through honda it includes the transmitters and transponders as well as the harness hope that helsp

A: i think all that you can go is 6.5 speakers. i think you might need to purchase some spacers too to make afterrnarket speakers fit. lol glowing lights? i dunno about that....too cool man too cool....

A: take a look at getting lighter flywheels. also, try double tipped spark plugs. and try a higher flow fuel pump.

Q: How long do ignition coils usually last on a 2003 Honda Civic LX?
My check engine light comes on and goes off every couple days. It gives the codes of cylinder misfire in cylinders 1, 2, 3, 4 and also random misfires. I just changed out the spark plugs. The car has just a little over 70,000 miles on it.

A: On these newer vehicles spark plug wires need replaced more than the actual plugs, this may be a remedy. Also if the problem began right after you changed plugs, most likely that is the cause. Go back and check your work. Good luck.

I have tried other keys with the same result--so I know it is NOT the key. The other locks work just fine! Thank you for any help or suggestions. Sometimes the key goes in, sometimes it doesn't. When it DOES go in, it won't always turn. SOMETIMES it does. How annoying!

k, i got some "angel eye" halo projector headlights and i can't install them until i remove the front bumper. if someone could tell me how, that would be great, and pics would be VERY helpful.

A: There are screws between the headlight housings on the top side of the bumper, there are possibly some bolts/screws holding the bumper on the lower side as well. Then there is a screw on both sides in front of the tires where the bumper sits flush with the fenders. Normally you have to get a flat head screwdriver and pry back the black plastic wheel well on the back side of the bumper, exposing the screw. From there just pull lightly until you find where its connected. However, I believe the headlights could be a bit more complicated than taking a bumper on and off...

If it still does not work, you might as well get a new one, because by the time you get the part, ship it to your house and pay someone to install it, it will be about the same price as a new one.

Any Honda dealer can look it up it for you, but they'll charge you to give you the code. You need to show something with the VIN on it and some proof that you own the car, like registration with our name on it.
