i just recently purchased a 2003 honda civic 2dr ex. how can i start to supe up my honda? give me some basic ideas on how to start

A: U can add a nice catback exhaust, would recommend an HKS hi-power. *Short ram air intake--AEM with k&n filter *performance headers--DC sports *Some nice aftermarket rims *could drop it on some eibach ground control coilovers *HFP (honda factory performance) lips and sideskirts ((do u want more mechanical upgrades? or both mechanical and exterior?)) p.s. i have a VIS carbon fiber trunk for sale that fits ur 03 civic, if ur interested. slvrcvc@yahoo.com

Q: 16-year-old with 2003 Honda Civic EX looking for insurance?
What would be the best company for a 16-year-old female with a 2003 Honda Civic EX and no history of driving accidents or tickets? I don't think insurance companies sell to people that young, I believe they are just added on to their parents insurance. Any suggestions for the best route? Which company would be cheapest for FULL COVERAGE?

A: It depends on which state you are in, some states are less expensive than others. You'll need to be on your parents policy since you're a minor, but they can check with an agent to help them get the best prices and coverage.

Q: 2003 Honda Civic EX: Coupe or Sedan?
Hoping for a little decision making help, I have found 2 possible vehicles to purchase and need to choose between a 2003 Honda Civic EX Coupe or Sedan (both automatics). Here are the particulars, please tell me what you think: 2003 Honda EX Coupe: 65,000 miles: Rally Red The dealer has offered a price of $9,500 out the door Very clean condition, no obvious dents/dings and little interior wear and tear. 2003 Honda EX Sedan: 56,000 miles: Black The dealer has offered a price of 9,700 before tax/title/licensing Minor front bumper guard damage and visible interior wear and tear Any insight/opinions would be appreciated! FYI: Would prefer to not have to go through a dealer, but need the financing options!

A: The way you described your options, I'd go for the coupe. But chances are your insurances might be cheaper for the sedan, having four doors and all.

Q: Need help on my 2003 honda civic Ex?
My 2003 Honda Civic EX has a key hole behind the rear seats on the top, does anyone know how to use it?

A: This is again a Master Key vs Valet Key issue. The Master (black) key will turn in this lock and allow the seat to fold down from the inside of the car. The Valet (grey) key will not allow this operation. This prevents unwanted people to gain access to the trunk.

Q: I have a 2003 Honda Civic EX Coupe 1.7 L 4 Cylinder, Could I modify it to run E85?
Perhaps, anti-corrosive fuel lines, bigger injectors, changing rubber hoses, and all the like?

A: Honda's are not currently listed as a vehicle that can be converted to E85. Here's what the Nathional Ethanol Vehicle Coalition has to say about the conversions: IS IT POSSIBLE TO CONVERT A VEHICLE THAT WAS DESIGNED FOR GASOLINE TO OPERATE ON E85? Yes, technically any gasoline vehicle can be converted to operate on E85.. However, the only kit holds EPA certification is by FlexFuel U.S. You can find more information on this kit at www.flexfuelus.com. Technically speaking, converting a vehicle that was designed to operate on unleaded gasoline only to operate on another form of fuel that does not use the FlexFuel U.S. kit is a violation of the federal law and the offender may be subject to significant penalties. The differences in fuel injector size, air-fuel ratio, PCM calibrations, material composition of the fuel lines, pumps and tanks are just a few of the components that contribute to making an E85 conversion extremely complex. for more information on the conversions use the link below to go to the website hope that helps

Q: 2003 Honda Civic Ex w/125000 miles, Salvage Title.?
I'm in San Diego, CA and I just bought a 2003 Honda Civic EX, 125000miles, with Salvage Title, I paid $4000 cash for it. It is a good deal or I got ripped off. Car experts, please tell me what you think.

A: In my opinion you got ripped off....especially if you didn't take it to a mechanic to see how well the car was rebuilt. I would never buy a salvaged vehicle, period, unless I was desperate and it was under 1500. A salvaged vehicle with 125K on it is very high. Salvaged vehicles typically sell for about 50% of KBB value. You would have a very difficult time selling this vehicle, should you choose to do so. If it was in an accident, it probably doesn't have airbags. Were you able to find insurance for it?
