I have a 2002 Honda Civic Si Hatchback (EP3) and I was wondering if a 2003 Acura RSX type S would be an even swap with an exhaust? like would a greddy exhaust from the acura rsx type s fit on my honda civic EP3??
A: you can take the muffler and cat off the rsx but you would have to have it re piped to fit your car.
Q: How do you disable the horn off a 2002 Honda Civic Si?
I installed a Air Intake Kit, without any electronic work and everytime I turn on my lights, my horn starts blaring. I tried taking out the fuses for the horn and that doesn't work. Is there any way I can unplug this for the time being, because I have to drive tonight and I need to know where it is. Thank you so much for your time and patience.
A: the horn is usually mounted on the front section of the egine compartment. it is shaped like a small roughly 3 inch round disc that is very thin. it is colored black and there are two wires conected to one side of it with a wire connection shaped in an "L" disconnect these wires and the horn wil no longer work until reconnected.
Q: Can I replace a 2002 honda civic engine EX with a 2002 honda civic SI engine?

A: YES OF COURSE, almost every person with an 7th gen civic does it, the engine in called a k20a or k24a are the best to put in them, just go on youtube and search it up,their faster and better, you can also do it with the fog lights too

Its hard to take my stickshift outta gear and into gear even with me depressing the clutch all da way down into the floor....New clutch needed or something else, something alot cheaper!?! 2002 civic si
A: check the clutch fluid but you probably need a clutch you add brake fluid to the small resevoir on firewall next to brakes good luck

i was wondering do you have to have a fuel injection engine to turbo it or not and does a 2002 honda civic si have a carborator or fuel injection system?

A: All 1990+ model cars to my knowledge are fuel injected. You could turbo a carbureted car.

No car in the world has 0 miles they atleast have 4-5 miles haha !!
A: no first of all that dealer probably didn't specify the mileage, it may be over 50K. You never know.
second, 7 grand....WTF. What if that car was involved in an accident, what if the engine got hit, be very careful here, if you had put a link, that would've been more helpful.
honestly don't buy it, or atleast call the dealer before making the decision.
Q: 2002 Acura RSX base, or 2002 honda civic Si (both k20a3)?
I like the looks of the rsx inside and out, its hot, especially with leather. It has the same engine as the honda civic si hatchback from 2002, but a little more torque. What would you rather get?
Although the gear shifter is up on the dashboard for the si, which seems odd, ive only heard great reviews for it.
I'm just not sure about hatchbacks, if i like them or not.
what do you think of them?
-also, for the future in modding it, i like the idea of supercharging. the rsx base has no supercharger kit while the civic does: its also not too pricey.
-on a last note, i heard that people who supercharged their rsx type s had huge traction problems in launching, do you think thered be a problem with the civic?
A: i'd say go with the rsx, parts might be more expensive but an rsx will hold resale ALOT better than an si. i dont understand why you want to supercharge it though?? not criticizing in any way, just thinking turbo might be a couple hundred more but the hp gains will be uncomprably larger and turbo's are easier to repair where as superchargers are far more advanced but if you do go with the rsx 1 word: widebody my bad dude but to answer the last part supercharger will cause the car to lose ALOT more traction as it will if you supercharged the si, where as the turbo will build as you go through the rpm's so no launch bogging with a turbo....so final note lol turbo widebody rsx later bro
Q: 2002 Honda Civic Si Air Conditioner Problem?
The Air Conditioner in my Honda has always been pretty cold, but recently I was driving down the highway and the A/C began to blow warm air. The air stays warm for about 2 minutes, then it cycles back to cold. This process recently repeated several times on a drive down the highway on a day when the temperature outside was around 101. I had a mechanic look at it, he hooked up a the low side and said that at idle the pressure was about 40, but when it was revved up to higher RPMS, maybe 3000-4000 the pressure was about 20. Is that normal? Should that happen at higher RPM, or could this be the cause of the warm air? I had the compressor and dryer replaced about a year ago at the dealership. Any recommendations?
A: You car's temperature is high (hot/about to overheat) cause of the weather. But all round your car is fine.
- Check if there is water/coolant in the radiator and the container which you put the same liquids but forgot the name...and if you have a breather tank check if the water level is in the minimum if not empty it and refill it to minimum.
- Give some distance while your driving.
Q: Best place to buy 2002 Honda Civic SI OEM fenders NOT from the dealership?
I just need a drivers side fender because I kinda hit a tree. No way I'm going through a dealership for one because they just jack the price up. It doesn't even have to be a real Honda one. As long as it's for the 2002 Honda Civic SI
We don't have public junkyards around here. You have to have a permit to deal with cars or fix them or whatever in order to go into a place where you pull your parts. So, that's out of the question. Already tried.

The trip odometer thing isn't working...
A: i had that happen on my 2002 civic lx and all i had to do was turn the key to were the power was on then hold my trip ometer knob for ten seconds,i had it pushed in before i turned the car on i had to try it a couple of times but it went off eventually..good luck
Q: Honda civic si 2002 engine light just came on?
i'm driving to work and the check the engine light came on, any ideas what it could be? i'm gonna have it checked this afternoon but i just wanna be ready for what it might be. I know the car has quite some miles on it, but i've been servicing it right on schedule. I'm so upset.
the code was P1457 EVAP emission control system leak detected. I tightened the fuel cap and the light went off for now so i'm gonna wait it out and see if it comes on again.
A: I don't think you need to panic , have you've noticed anything different about how your car is running since the light came on? Don't go pay for the test , theres a few places out there that offer free tests to trouble shoot the codes. Its only a matter of a test gig being attached to your cars comp plug.
I suggest you get a free scan or test done , find out what the code is that caused the engine light to come on and what the mechanic suggests, then come back on here and ask about it.
Sometimes those lights just come on for minor problems and bec the car hasn't been serviced in awhile.

A: most common places I have seen on vehicles:
1. under drivers side of dash
2. passenger side of dash (when you open the door)
(could also be placed on driver's side as well)
3. under the hood
if you look in all 3 places I bet you will find it, usually under a little cover of some sort.

A: Just buy a Ferrari Enzo. Cheaper, Cooler, and Less Work!
